The Swanson Family
An up and coming band from Florida with a hard driving bluegrass sound, The Swanson Family is Rick
Swanson on bass and Lynn Swanson on guitar, featuring their sons Travis, on fiddle, Tyler, on banjo,
and Eric, on mandolin. They feature traditional bluegrass, bluegrass gospel, and instrumentals. Their
musical style has influences from the classic bluegrass era, all the way to the progressive genre,
appealing to audiences of all ages. They have played a number of engagements across the central and
north Florida region and across the United States, including the Spirit of Bluegrass Music Fest in Live
Oak, the Country Rocks the Canyon annual event in Crystal River, Florida, and as far as the High
Mountain Hay Fever Bluegrass Festival in Westcliffe, Colorado. The newest addition to the group is
Megan, contributing lead and harmony vocals. The Swanson Family loves playing bluegrass together
and wants to share their love of the music with you. Come and hear them play!
