Mandolinist Eric Swanson has been playing bluegrass since the age of twelve. A multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter, Eric is an accomplished musician and feels right at home with many other instruments such as guitar, Dobro, octave guitar, and mandola.  

 

His songwriting has been featured on both  Swanson Family Album releases and has received both national and international radio air-time. 

 

Eric's early years in music included learning piano, playing the upright bass and drums for his church choir.  At the age of thirteen, he began pursuing mandolin as his instrument of choice and began immersing himself in the study of bluegrass music.
